  Room acoustics services include analysis and recommendations for room size, shape, structure, finish surfaces and furnishings to control sound reflection and reverberation characteristics of rooms where listening is important. The analysis of existing rooms is performed using modern instrumentation and computer modeling.
  
  
• Sound Isolation
  
  Sound Isolation includes orienting spaces and recommending structures and systems to achieve desired isolation from unwanted sound in offices and dwellings and in critical quiet areas such as performing arts spaces, churches, recording studios, libraries and museums. Isolation includes the design and specification of wall and floor/ceiling structures, acoustical windows and doors and partition intersection and penetration details.

Equipment Noise Control

Services include evaluation and design for control of noise and vibration from mechanical (HVAC) and electrical equipment. Noise control is implemented through recommendations and the specification of acoustical characteristics of equipment and materials and of vibration isolation elements.

Environmental Noise Assessment

Ambient sound level surveys; predictive analysis of future noise levels and potential noise impact of transportation, commercial, industrial, and housing projects are part of environmental noise assessment. Methods and materials for reduction of noise impact are specified. Preparation of noise analysis reports for use in preparing environmental assessments may also be included.

Industrial Noise

Services include recommendations for the control of noise from industrial systems and processes as well as the evaluation of community noise impact from proposed, new industrial facilities and existing plant expansions.
